The training takes 4 half-days (2 days). You learn to approach innovation, transformation and problem solving in a way that originates from the Design world. Design Thinking is an iterative and phased approach. It is a creative process of learning and experimenting that leads to solutions. People are central during the entire process.
The training goes through the 5 phases of Design Thinking: Empathy, Design, Ideate, Prototype and Test. The participants get to work with actual challenges from practice. Participants learn to look at issues with a different mindset in addition to the theory of Design Thinking.

- The origins and core principles of Design Thinking
- The phases of Design Thinking
- Double Diamond model
- Design Thinking techniques / canvases: personas, design challenge, empathy map, ideation, customer journey, story telling, prototyping, pitching, testing, divergent and convergent thinking, and much more
- Design Thinking in relation with Agile and Lean
This training is ideally suited for organizations that want to develop a mindset of very strong customer focus and want to increase their innovation and change power.
The Design Thinking Practitioner is offered as an in-company training. The participants work as a team on actual and relevant issues. The minimum group size is 6 participants. This training can be provided both at the location of the organization and at one of the training locations of Watson & Associates. Ask about the possibilities.
